HARRIS FAULKNER [CO-HOST]: You know, all of that and add to that what Pete [Hegseth] was talking about, that if the state doesn't think that either parent is capable of recognizing gender transitioning as it should be recognized, the state then, what, throws this kid into foster care. I mean who is making these kinds of decisions and should we trust those people?
KAYLEIGH MCENANY [CO-HOST]: No, you shouldn't trust Gavin Newsom, you shouldn't trust any of these people. They also have a law that if you are a parent in another state, that you can flee, your child can flee, and get a mastectomy or get a sterilization without the consent of the parent. What does this all boil down to? The Democratic Party is trying to erase parents. This is about control. They are erasing parents. It's the only conclusion you can come to. Republicans, for their part, need to look to what I would argue is one of the foremost, best voices on education in this country, Gov. Glenn Youngkin. Every Republican in this country should watch his interview with Shannon Bream on Fox News Sunday. I did, you know, a CTRL+F search and found he used the word parents 15 times. He kept saying parents should be at the heads of the table. He talked to Martha's point about, there are mechanisms in place where there's abuse and he really just explained all of this as empowering the parent. That is a man who won a blue state on the issue of education.
FAULKNER: That's right.
MCENANY: Republicans don't win on that issue, Gov. Youngkin did, why? Go check out his interview.
